Mead for Everyone
At Mythic Mead, we believe mead should be approachable, enjoyable, and a little bit fun.
We have a deep respect for traditional mead, and we love it. There’s something timeless about honey, water, yeast, and patience coming together to make something special. Our classic offerings are rooted in that tradition, and we take pride in keeping those flavors alive and well.
At the same time, we believe there’s plenty of room at the table for creativity.
Not everyone comes to mead the same way. Some folks are lifelong enthusiasts. Some are craft beer drinkers looking for something new. Some just want a drink that tastes good and feels welcoming. We’re here for all of them.
We’ll be the first to admit we’re not chasing perfection or pretending to be the best mead makers. You cant get better if you don’t make mistakes, learn and grown. What we are striving to be is inclusive, curious, and inviting. We experiment. We play. We make “SideQuest” flavors alongside our traditional staples. We welcome questions, preferences, and first-timers who aren’t quite sure what mead even is yet.
Our goal is simple: bring mead to the table—for every kind of mead drinker, from the purist to the adventurous, and everyone in between. No gatekeeping. No pressure. Just good drinks, good company, and a space to slow down, share a glass, and break and behold.
If you love mead already, we’re glad you’re here.
If you’re brand new to it, even better! Pull up a chair and let’s have some fun.

Side Quest Flavors…not all will appear here

NEW — Skal Fest Blend
(Idaho Renaissance Faire Limited Edition)

Rarity: Very Rare (Limited Release)
Type: Consumable (Spiced Festival Mead)
Appearance: A deep amber-gold mead, glowing like firelight at dusk, with rich spice suspended within—each swirl releasing warmth and depth.

Description

Brewed in small, carefully crafted batches for the Idaho Renaissance Faire, Skal Fest Blend is a celebration in a bottle—bold, warming, and meant to be remembered.

Made from select Idaho honey and infused with cardamom, clove, allspice, ginger, and cinnamon, this limited release delivers a layered, full-bodied experience. Each sip unfolds slowly—spice first, then honeyed warmth, finishing with a lingering glow that settles deep and stays.

This is not an everyday pour. It’s a mead reserved for long tables, loud laughter, and moments worth marking. Once the casks run dry, they’re gone.

Raise your glass while you can.

Effects

+2 Constitution for 1 hour
(The rich spice and strength fortify both body and spirit.)

Advantage on Charisma-based checks
as the mead inspires confidence, warmth, and camaraderie.

At 13.5% ABV, overindulgence inflicts:
Disadvantage on Dexterity checks until a long rest
(Too much indulgence leaves even the strongest unsteady.)

Bard’s Tasting Notes

“Deep, warming, and unmistakably rare. The spice arrives in waves—cardamom and clove leading, followed by a rich honey backbone and a slow, lingering heat. There’s weight to it, purpose to it… the kind of drink that gathers people close and keeps them there. A true festival treasure—gone as quickly as it appears.”

Vili Vanilli-Cherry Cola Mead

Rarity: Questionable (Drink at Your Own Risk)
Type: Consumable (??? Mead)
Appearance: A deep cherry-red pour with a fizzy attitude…like it’s trying to remember it used to be soda before fermentation….

Description

Nobody asked for it.
Nobody expected it.
And yet… here it is.

Vili Vanilli is an experimental mead that boldly asks: “What if we just… didn’t follow any rules?”
Blending cherry sweetness, cola nostalgia, and a suspicious hint of vanilla, this brew walks the line between genius and bad decision.

It’s sweet. It’s strange. It’s weirdly drinkable.
And the longer you think about it, the less sense it makes.

Effects

+1 Charisma for 20 minutes
(You are now confident in choices you absolutely should not be confident about.)

Advantage on Performance checks
(You will commit to the bit.)

At 12.5% ABV, overindulgence inflicts:
Confusion (self-imposed)
(You forget why you liked this… but keep drinking anyway.)

Bard’s Tasting Notes

“I don’t… hate it? It starts like a cherry soda, turns into a mead halfway through, and finishes like a dare. There’s vanilla in there somewhere…maybe. Or maybe that’s just the memory of better decisions. Either way, it’s surprisingly smooth, deeply confusing, and absolutely something I will order again just to make sure it wasn’t a hallucination.”

Almost Sold Out!!!

Banana Bread Dead Redemption

Rarity: Rare
Type: Consumable (Spiced Dessert Mead)
Appearance: A deep amber-gold pour, thick with warmth, carrying notes of caramelized sugar and warm bananas, like sunlight hitting a dusty…banana…saloon at dusk.

Description

Baked, not brewed—at least that’s how it tastes.

Banana Bread Dead Redemption is a rich, spiced mead crafted from golden honey, ripe banana, and a slow draw of cinnamon, nutmeg, and clove. Sweet up front, with a warm, lingering finish, it hits like a fresh loaf pulled from a frontier oven, soft, spiced, and just a little dangerous.

There’s comfort in it, sure but also a quiet strength. The kind that settles in your bones after a long ride, or a longer day.

Best enjoyed by those who’ve earned their rest… and aren’t afraid to take it.

Effects

+1 Constitution for 1 hour
(Hearty and grounding—this mead fortifies body and spirit.)

Advantage on saving throws against exhaustion
as the rich blend restores warmth and staying power.

At 13% ABV, overindulgence inflicts:
Disadvantage on Dexterity checks until a long rest
(Too much comfort slows the draw—and the step.)

Bard’s Tasting Notes

“Smooth as a slow sunset and twice as comforting. Ripe banana leads the charge—soft, mellow, and sweet—followed by a steady rise of warm spice that lingers like a good story. There’s toasted bread on the finish, honey in the middle, and just enough bite to remind you it’s still a drink, not a dessert. Best served fireside… or wherever you decide to make camp.”

This is a lesson.

Princess Donut would like it formally recorded that she warned you. Carl would like a glass of water.”
